Modern Style Rock-n-Roll

Rock n Roll is another figure I don't own any version of.  When I saw the new Avengers Series Ultimates Thor, I thought the head would make a good RnR head.

I am not going with the standard heavy gunner style for him.  I'm probably going to give him a Marauder AA-12, auto-shotgun when he gets them made.

So here's my plan.  To me, RnR has always been too small for what he was supposed to be.  He's a heavy gunner, but he's a twig.  I felt the ROC TRU version (though not code named him, his actualy name is still RnR) his the nail a bit better in the way of size.  He's got some bulk, but doesn't look fat.  So I'm going to use a figure with a similar size.

I swapped the parts, and this is where I'm at.  

I need to paint the paints, and anyone who knows me, knows my love of painting.

Commissioned Navy SEAL

This piece was a commission for a guy on Bantha Skull.  I did a shit ton of research on SEALs to get the look right, and make sure I had the load out done properly.  First some WIPs pics.

Firefly

My idea for Firefly is, he's more of a who ever pays the best type of guy.  Working for Cobra, working for the Joes.  He's not picky as long as the check clears.

Torso and arms are ROC Reactive armor Duke.  Legs are POC Beachhead.  Head and vest are POC Shock Trooper.

A more modern take on Gung Ho...gave him a shirt too.

Torso, upper arms, vest and head are POC Recondo. Lower arms are ROC Lt. Stone.  Legs are POC Arctic Destro.  Hat is from ROC Gung Ho, and is removable.  SAW is from Marauder Gun Runners modded to look like the rifle he uses in the Resolute cartoon.

I like Flint...but he's a smug sunuvabitch.  I tried to make him a bit more like a soldier.  Torso, upper arms, head and vest are Resolute Flint.  Lower arms are POC Zartan.  Legs are POC Recondo.  Shotty is from Marauder.
